BOOK AND SEWING MEETING.
Elsa tells why it´s good to read books and stories, it´s because you get to know new things and you get new thoughts.

All children are free from school thanks to a muslim holiday,Muharran.
We bring new books for the Library. The hindi books in the box are well read. The English ones are too difficult.All read hindi.
The girls tell what are the books about, when we don´t understand.
Monika ask them to read for younger sieblings and friends who cannot read. They may also read for their mothers. Nearly all will do so.
Then they are queing up for borrow new story-books.

Laxmi is in 10th class in Girl´s school, she wants to become a teatcher. Her mother is very proud.
Elsa explains for some of the elder girls that some Swedish friends want to support their education. May bee they could write something short, a greeting to them.We can send their letters in the next Sweden-packet.
On Sunday we will meet them to discuss this. The families of theese girls think that it´s enough to attend school up to 10th class. After that it is very meaningful to give support to girls with ambitions to continue study. Must be done with the parent´s will.
